theperson's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- December 4th A year has passed since the last entry. My fiance is in Norway again this summer. I am at home- yes, the home!- left alone to my own devices. Kate and I are now homeowners. Week number one is finished, and we have four more weeks apart. I am proud of myself that I have not been getting drunk every night, and glad that I've fought off the temptation to buy one of those fake vaginas. A humiliating adventure! Just imagine the self esteem issues I'd be thinking about post-coitus while rinsing out a flaccid orifice dripping out semen standing naked by my bathroom sink. This weekend I plan to brew an IPA that was voted best IPA in zymurgy magazine this past year. If I can procure a 2-gallon fermentation tank of sorts I may make some mead as well. I'm a little pissed that the Shepard Fairy print I ordered in the mail for Kate's upcoming birthday was fucked up by the UPS delivery. It was rolled up in one of those cardboard tubes that make a merciless weapon for beating on siblings and friends. They are pretty stout. Somehow UPS managed to bend it in half in the process of bringing it to me. I mean what the fuck? I have to get that sorted out and get a new one shipped to me before she gets back... I just hate confrontations; I'm not the kind of person who bitches about services and products. The pharmacist I work with received "The Grey Album" from me last week. I'm curious about his feedback; I would have my feelings hurt if he didn't think the album was bad-ass. He is my only black friend. To all of my readers (there are about 2 or 3 of you, I think), I would like to thank you for your support. We've had this relationship for a long time now. I'll try to be a better father in the future and be around more.
